Happy Hallo-Wedding!

We are getting married on October 22nd, 2011; however we're going more for an autumnal theme with oranges and purples, not black and fake cobwebs. But it's a really fun idea, and I love anyone who has the gumption to go for it!
We're not planning a Halloween wedding, but if we were...

Elegant crepe ivory and white dresses,
with just an accent of black in the ribbon detail!

Such awesome decor ideas! This ain't Party City, kids!

Does it get more Halloween than a dessert table full of candy? Trick or treat!

If you can't have a kooky wedding cake on Halloween, when can you?

So adorable! These truffles from Moonstruck would be the perfect favor!

My Favorite Video Bridal Fashion Reports from Knot.com

Click on the links above the photos to be taken to the video reports:

Carolina Herrera's collection this season is all about famous women artists! Is there any designer that isn't more in tune with thinking women's fashion tastes? Not in my book!

Jim Hjelm's Spring 2011 collection is so lovely, with lots of lace and ruffles in organza. So feminine and undeniably pretty!

Christos' Spring 2011 line was my personal favorite work of designer Amsale, who designs her own label and Kenneth Pool as well. With Christos, she was really able to go all out with vintage, heirloom details she has seen passed down through generations.

Claire Pettibone is the go-to designer for unapologetic vintage designs, and this year she has moved back in time to rediscover historic lace patterns. The dress above uses cotton Queen' Anne's Lace, which is one of the oldest lace patterns in English tradition. It reminds me of the opening sequence of Jane Campion's "Bright Star".
